Metro Detroit Ford Dealers



Metro Detroit Ford Dealers were looking to build excitement and awareness for the launch of their new 2010 product line, to build awareness of their profitable parts and service division AND to build a database of interested potential buyers.


GMD Interactive decided to go BIG by creating a fun, interactive, online contest with a $25,000 cash grand prize to go towards the purchase of a new Ford. The contest was a microsite hosted at WinWithFord.com featuring a word scramble game with pre-selected words specific to Ford Parts and Service. People could play the game, register to win the grand prize or one of five runner-up prizes. E-mail blast inclusion, online display ads, streaming spots and on air promotion drove traffic to the game.


The campaign which ran on all three GMD stations was the highest clicked through online campaign during its run. A database of highly interested potential customers was delivered to the Metro Detroit Ford Dealers for follow up marketing and correspondence.
